The Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain continue their summer 2011 tour of Puget Sound-area ports with a stop at Brownsville August 15 through August 21. The ships will bring their popular Battle Sails, plus an expanded series of value-priced Evening Sails, to the Port of Brownsville Marina at 9790 Ogle Road Northeast in Bremerton. They are scheduled to arrive the evening of August 15.
Evening Sails include demonstrations of tall ship handling, an opportunity to help the crew raise a sail, and a beautiful Puget Sound sunset. Battle Sails feature a recreation of a typical 18th century naval skirmish, complete with cannon fire using real gunpowder (but no cannon balls). Groups of eight or more for Battle Sails automatically receive a 15% per ticket discount at the time of purchase. Tickets are available online or by calling 800-200-5239.
